The primary objectives of the Ngak Mang Institute of Australia Incorporated is to:
- Preserve and promote the economic, social, cultural and health development of people in the Himalayan region of Asia. Specifically, the people in the Rebkong region of Amdo in Tibet
- Contribute and develop traditional native culture, for the benefit of society and its future
- Support the development of native cultural traditions, by giving men, women and children the equal opportunity to study and practice their own cultural heritage
